Detail: The investment in advanced analytics among insurance carriers has increased substantially over the last few years. In 2015 alone, 60% of carriers indicated increased budgets, and for good reason, as data has become increasingly important to the decision making process at the executive level.

The use of analytics has moved beyond the traditional realm of underwriting and pricing into broader initiatives across the entire organization, including marketing, claims, and support operations. To understand current business practices and capabilities, Ward Group conducted a survey in 2015 and this report presents the findings of that survey.
