Carriers are constantly looking for ways to improve their claims operational efficiency, manage loss and expenses, and improve customer satisfaction.   As part of their efforts, carriers are relying on strategic partners to help them deploy claims programs to address these challenges and gain an edge on their competitors.

To understand the business practices and impact these practices have on carrier performance, Ward Group conducted a survey, sponsored by BrightClaim, of P&C insurance carriers that handle property insurance.  Participants in the survey were widely representative of the property-casualty insurance industry and the aggregate responses corroborated data collected from other Ward Group research. The report presents the findings of this survey.

Profile of Participants

A diverse group of 71 insurance carriers participated in the survey. In order to maintain the confidentiality of the data, the names of the participants have not been disclosed.
